![]() but I could go on and on about how much Symantec wasted my time.Īfter I did a lot of research, there was quite a few bad reviews about Comodo, mostly regarding their customer service or the sales rep being rude, but the guy I got was very professional and was willing to wait for my long process to purchasing Comodo. After talking with their support, they had to send me a special program to basically kill their own program, when their uninstaller stopped working. ![]() I had that problem with Symantec as well, other problems I had with them was every now and then the program would just stop working, and it won't even allow you to uninstall it. Shoot me a message if you would like to know more, I would be more than happy to share my experience with you. Once I did this, I was differently sold for Comodo. Symantec allowed over half the different types of Ransomeware. I also ran a RansomeWare Simulator, from KnowBe4 and it will tell you what you are protected against vs what was infected, and Comodo blocks it 100%. This allows your users to keep working without having to worry about good, vs bad files. I ran a Ransomware file on my computer with Comodo and it allowed it to run, but didn't even touch my files. What is really cool about them, is if they find a file they don't recognize, it will still allow the user to run it, but it runs in a secure environment so it can't screw with your computer. ![]() Worth every penny! I will say that they are a little more expensive than Symantec but 100% worth it. Within minutes of implementing Comodo, it found viruses that Symantec never found for years that we had them. Yupp we purchased it for 3 years, and i have to say works great! Doesn't steal resources on the computers or servers.
